Something Borrowed

Save the date.

Last year, at Edinburgh Fringe, Melissa got engaged. So, naturally, she wrote a solo show about it.

Something Borrowed is part rom-com, part autobiography, part wedding prep, part (complete) life crisis.

★★★★ "The piece is much more than just a conversation about wedding planning. Something Borrowed is both a funny and an honest show" - Fringe Guru

Join Fringe First nominated Portmanteau as we take on outdated traditions, family expectations, the uneasy desire to be a princess, and a mountain of wedding magazines. Well, about six.

★★★★ “A thoroughly enjoyable and emotional hour of theatre” - Broadway Baby

Melissa has started documenting her bridal journey on her blog, head over to her tumblr page now.

Something Borrowed was previewed in June 2016 at Off Beat Festival in Oxford and will be at Morley College, London on 15th July before heading to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival at The Pleasance, performing a full run in Bunker Two at 12.30pm from 3 - 29th August 2016.
